This week T has been feeding ALL THE TIME which, combined with the appearance of his first two teeth, has not been a wholly enjoyable experience from my point of view particularly as only having one hand free at a time has rather hampered my attempts at blogging. On the up-side, one hand is all you need to browse through everyone else’s blog and what better way to amuse yourself while rooted to the sofa for hours at a time.
It occurred to me that I haven’t been terribly adventurous on the blog front recently. I just tend to read the half a dozen or so that I have come to really like and don’t look any further. So with all this time on my hands I set about exploring a bit and I’ve found some fantastic posts. Here’s my run down of my favourite finds:
The Emotional One…
You can always rely on The Rhythm Method for wonderful writing and ‘Henry, the tiny dot: The story of my growth restricted newborn’ is no exception. No mum could fail to empathise.
The Gardening One…
‘Winter Rainbows’ is a short but beautifully illustrated post by Hearts Desire that’ll make you want to get out into the garden.
The Funny One…
We all wonder what our babies are thinking but Mother Venting has given her daughter a voice in ‘If my baby could talk‘. It had me in fits.
The Foodie One…
The Cornish Foodie’s picture of ‘Courgette and Ricotta Stuffed Pasta Shells‘ was enough to make my mouth water and it would be a perfect dinner now the weathers cooled down again.
The Craft One…
Jennie Sandford has been producing lovely things for quite a while but her blog and Folksy shop are relatively new. Her latest piece ‘For an excellent woman‘ is a great example.
It’s always great to find a new blog you like so if you have a minute do take a look at some of these and if you’ve found any hidden gems leave me a comment so we can all pop on over. Happy reading!

Thank you for linking up! It was difficult to post my story, but I’m so touched that it resonates with other mums.

I’m honestly amazed you could write so beautifully about what must have been such a distressing time. So glad everything worked out well for you in the end.
