The boys are off nursery for Easter at the moment and this week Hubs has had two days of with them while I’ve been at work. I have been very restrained and not left him with a checklist of things to do or told what to give them for lunch.
I don’t know why I was worried. I got back a bit later than usual tonight and the boys were both happily splashing away in the bath, tea consumed, kitchen tidied and a cup of tea waiting for me.
Sometimes Daddies rock.
[Throughout April I’m taking part in the A to Z Challenge. This is my post for D. Yesterday I blogged about Celebrity Airbrushing and tomorrow I’ll post about my Evenings.]
Big up the daddies! I agree, sometimes they rock!!!!
Great post! I used to forget this, when my kids were small. I wanted to control everything. It is hard to hand over that power and to trust.
found you via a to z and will be back to read more!!

This IS a rocking daddy!
Dad’s DO rock…although saying that I did come home to some dirty dishes last night…but that’s enough on that…he’s fixing my car next week. He doesn’t know yet. But he is. x
Bet he was dead chuffed with himself too! Teamwork that’s what it’s all about.
Well done Daddy! Reckon he may cash in those brownie points soon?
