T has only been walking properly for just over a month but he seems to be developing a bit of a football obsession. It doesn’t matter what the toy is, if he can get it to roll he’ll dribble it up and down the living room. I’m completely stunned by this as, until he was about three, every time E tried to kick a ball he’d miss and fall over. Hubs is of course taking this as a sign that T has inherited his amazing sporting genes while poor E must be burdened by my athletic inadequacy. I really try not to predicted what the boys will like or be good at as I don’t want to turn it into a self fulfilling prophecy but it’s hard not to see aspects of yourself in them even really early on, isn’t it?

[Throughout April I’m taking part in the A to Z Challenge. This is my post for F. Yesterday I blogged about my Evenings.]
That video is lovely. Your hubs must be sooooo do proud 🙂 my OH is a complete footy nutjob and we all have to freeze when Z kicks the ball!
Thank you, yes Hubs is super chuffed. Good excuse for some father son bonding while I blog I think.
Wow he is really very good. May pop out and place a tenner on him being an England under 21 player =)
Ha ha, maybe I should take back my post about footballers being terrible role models :s.
Maybe E is just a bit of a late bloomer? 🙂
Thanks, I’m sure he’ll have many other talents. Maybe time to try rugby?
That’s so cute. When my youngest was that age, we’d throw him a sponge football and he’d kick it penalty-style back at us, usually going past us and hitting the wall we were sitting in front of. That’s your next step!
Eek! We’ll need a bigger garden. Thanks for commenting.
