Win a selection of Joe Browns accessories

Joe Brown accessoriesI was very happy to receive some things from Joe Browns to review last week, not least because the freezing weather made the arm warmers super useful! Joe Browns are an online clothing and accessories retailer who aim to deliver something a little more interesting and individual that your normal highstreet offerings.

I was really impressed with the quirky items I was sent. The bracelet is cute and something I could wear all the time. It’s light but also surprisingly sturdy (as tested by T who was determined to remove it from my wrist but couldn’t) with an easily adaptable cord strap. The arm warmers are a really soft wool/cashmere mix with a pretty cable knit pattern that makes them more yummy mummy than emo teen and I love the little buttons down the side. The felt purse is handmade in Nepal so each one is a unique combination of colours which makes it feel a bit special and it is big enough to fit my cash and cards as well as a fair size stack of the assorted rubbish I always carry around with me.

Here are some of my favourite pieces from their current range. I’m totally in love with the floral mac in particular and think I’ll have to wave that under Hubs nose in the run up to Valentines Day.

A new spring jacket would be a good idea, hopefully we’ll have a nice spring and summer so i can “retire” my winter coat for a good many months!

I’d love a new fresh coat – I never know what to buy though, get paralysed with indecision and by the time I finally make my mind up the seasons have changed! :)

I really need to get a new pair of short black boots (to wear with jeans) … the sole separated away from the upper on my old pair (from over wear and getting soaked in one too many April showers probably!) and I had to throw them out before I tripped over my own feet and did myself a damage!

I have tons upon tons of jumpers, so I’m going to need something lighter for spring! Some nice floral dresses x

I’d love to replace my big winter coat for a lighter one ready for the warmer weather. And seeing the snow falling today, spring cant come quick enough!

I have nothing to wear for my conservative auntie’s 60th birthday bash in May so I would like to replace my old plain dress for something a bit more dressy.

I can’t wait to get out of my winter coat. I really want to put it in the wardrobe and not look at until Autumn
