I love the idea of taking time to create beautiful food on a stylish range cooker surrounded by the latest gadgets with ingredients sourced from a local deli but, let’s be honest, sometimes you just want to knock up something tasty that everyone will like without too much prep. On those days this Spicy Sausage Stew is my go to solution. Don’t worry too much about exact measurement here if your supermarket pack sizes are different to mine. As long as you’re in the right ball park you’ll be fine.

Yum yum yum! Love sausages and beans just like Aly – a winning combo I reckon! The sort of recipe that I know my children would eat too! x

Yes. Just YES! A huge bowl of that and some rustic bread to mop up the sauce would do exceptionally well.

We love sausage casserole – haven’t tried spicy or flagolet in them yet though – nice ideas. Particularly love creamy flagolet beans 🙂

Is it wrong that I never buy beans?
I may need to get some …. this looks delicious!

Like this very much. Will be trying it, as a way to get my kids to eat more vegetables. Sausages are always a huge hit in our house (but I’m getting bored of serving it with mash or chips)

Will be giving this a try Cat, thank you! 🙂

Sounds yummy! I have some sausages in the freezer and was just going to bangers and mash – I may change my mind!

You had me on ‘Spicy’ ! The kids love sausages so will have a go – minus the spicy for them (they are wimps!)
