Tesco have a great offer on the Kitchenware range at the moment. They are running a sticker promotion between 3rd March – 1st June 2014 where you can save up to 70% on exclusive kitchenware products at Tesco. For every £20 you spend online OR in-store you can collect a sticker, once you’ve collected five stickers you can use these to save up to 70% off professional kitchenware items. You can check here for more details.
Tesco have sent me some of their Thomas kitchen knives which I’m going to be trying out over the next few weeks. I’ve started off by putting the utility knife through its paces to carve an apple flower for their blogger challenge for which lots of bloggers are getting artistic with fruit and veg to win £150 of Red Letter Day vouchers. So if you fancy jazzing up an apple in a spare moment here’s how you can carve a pretty flower .
I found lots of video tutorials on Youtube of all kinds of ways to carve fruit if you’re feeling adventurous but I thought I’d start out simple:
Not bad for a first try, hey? It’s actually quite therapeutic once you start because you have to concentrate quite hard.
If you’d like to win your own set of 5 Thomas knives and a wooden knife block (RRP over £100) then just leave me a comment sharing what fruit or veg you think would be the best for carving and what you would carve into it, then record your entry in the rafflecopter along with any additional entries you’d like to make. You must be over 18 to enter and the giveaway will run until Monday 28th April 2014.
