This weekend I have had the pleasure of being a #MorrisonsMum. I’m checking out our local store and putting together a few bank holiday meals to test out their produce. I’ll be posting later in the week to fill you in on our experience. To give you a taster, here is a quick recipe we all really enjoyed with our BBQ on Saturday.
This easy Greek Salad made great use of the excellent fresh produce on offer. Along with the Barrel-Aged Greek Feta from the M Signature range. All the fresh ingredients (I had the oil and herbs already) came to £6.20 so just over £1 a serving which I think is great value.
Easy Greek Salad Ingredients
- 300g mixed cherry tomatoes
- 250g feta
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/2 red onion
- 75g black olives
- 50ml olive oil
- 1tsp dried mint
- 1tsp dried oregano
It couldn’t be easier. Just chop it all up and mix. You can make it early and keep it in the fridge too.
So I hope you enjoy our easy greek salad. Helen from Kiddycharts has a great post on teaching kids about healthy eating. and don’t forget to check out our other recipes. For another healthy option check out this Chinese Fakeaway. What a treat!
Oh that looks yummy! So simple too! x
Yumm that looks fantastic! I love summery salads.
We have just finished our shop! My recipe is not quite as healthy as this. No wonder I’m not losing any weight LOL.
That looks and sounds fantastic. I’ve bookmarked this page so I can come back to it the next time I’m menu planning. Thanks.
