I like the idea of them having a broader support network beyond me and hubby as they get older so my brother and sister are a really important part of the boys lives as well. I’m very lucky they live quite close by at the moment.

As a result my brother is and always has been my best friend. I like you, hope my 2 boys grow up as more than just brothers but friends as well.
