Hub bought me a wooden necklace. When we got married he rather ambitiously promised to buy me a pair of knickers each year made out of whatever the anniversary material was – ie 1st, paper knickers and so on (romantic, I know). I am RATHER GLAD he did not make it to wooden knickers. (I think he was looking forward to the ‘leather’ year. Mmmpf)

I feel the same about my wedding day. Not the best day in my life, not the worst either. When I look at our wedding photos, I look like a bride, but I don’t look like me. I think I was too shell shocked to do anything but smile politely.
Since our wedding, we’ve built and sold 4 houses, had 3 children, and renovated our family home. Hoping the next 7 years are a little more peaceful. *sigh*
