Like you I had a section, (I’ve posted a picture of me on the operating table for this) I soon got over my disappointment. It was reading an article about c sections which dispelled the ‘holy grail’ of natural childbirth, with a moving story about an African woman who was found dead in a field after her baby got stuck. It made me look very differently at some of the childbirth books I read, about African women squatting down and giving birth naturally in a field.
Keep up the great work, we take the NHS for granted
