‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stiring, not even a mouse…
It’s one of the best known poems and the perfect bedtime read for this time of year. Paragon have just brought out a new edition of The Night Before Christmas, brought to life with the warm and playful artwork of Henry Fisher.
The whole book is beautiful and I particularly like the snowflakes scattered throughout the pages and the glittery front cover that makes it feel like a special treat. If you’d like to win a copy to get your little ones into the festive spirit just leave me a comment sharing what you like to do with your family on Christmas Eve and record your entry in the rafflecopter widget along with any additional entries you’d like to make. The giveaway will run until Sunday 15th December 2013.
You’ll find lots more competitions on my comp page, the December Competition Time Linky and on our collaborative Competitions and Giveaways Pinterest Board.

This year, my boyfriend is living with us so we will be incorporating his traditions as well! His traditions include visiting a pub on christmas eve to meet friends and give out their gifts and also reading the nightmare before christmas before bed. This year we will be baking cookies and gingerbread during the day, then going to the pub to hand out gifts before coming back home to watch a film on netflix and have some hot chocolate and the cookies we made earlier before reading the nightmare before christmas then bed.
