We have a guest on the blog today; Helen Neale, a month of two and a freelance writer and blogger. Helen blogs at both KiddyCharts and Stickers, Stars and Smiles. Her kiddycharts.com blog offers parenting advice and tools to those with little people like her. The other blog is a bit more personal and can get a little bit messier. She survives being a work at home parent with diet coke and the occasional bar of chocolate.
Thanks so much to Cat from Yellow Days for being my lovely host here today. I am delighted to be here, and promise to take my shoes off on the way in….
KiddyCharts started properly almost a year ago; and was born out of the chaos that my house with two toddlers in became. Serves me right for having my kids only 18months apart I suppose. The charts we offer on the blog, from those to help with potty training to the personalised toddler reward chart are supposed to make life as a parent a little easier, and a bit less stressful. The progress-type behaviour charts we have seem to be the most popular. We wanted to do something with a bit of a touch of tinsel in it, so we have made a Christmas themed one and turned it into an advent calendar competition. *creative aren’t we?*
Those little red presents aren’t ordinary you know…
Oh no, inside each one if an elf, oops sorry, no not an elf, but a giveaway that each and every one of you can enter.
There are some great prizes opened up already, including a personalised scooter from the lovely ladies at Micro Scooters, as well as some vouchers on websites that will hopefully help you get some excellent gifts: Experience Days, and Truprint.
Each giveaway runs for a week, so that should be plenty of time for you to have a bash. The first giveaway for the scooter ends on Sunday the 8th December; so get opening! We have lots of big name brands participating from Disney, to Mums and Me. As well as some smaller, boutique shops with some unique wee gifts. There should be something for both kids and parents.
We would like one of the readers here to be able to take something home from the 24 different prizes that are on offer in the month, so why not sign up to the mailing list so you know when the new giveaways are online below:
Perhaps when you have done that, you can pay a visit to the chart and to Santa himself to open up the presents on the advent calendar. You never know, it might just be you taking home that personalised scooter for your wee girl or boy. *holds breath in hope*
