This is a great new idea for a meme from Slummy Single Mummy. You can read all about it by clicking on the badge but essentially we’re going to attempt to summarise our week in seven tweets. They can be tweets you actually sent or just a 140 character summary that you write in retrospect. Can’t be that hard, right?
Monday – Please may I ask that you vote with your conscience to halt this Tory NHS Bill in the House of Lords
Tuesday – Tonight I’ve been at my first constituency party branch meeting. Can’t beat a good debate on universal benefits of an evening.
Wednesday – Watching 3 year old son perform in spring concert in the challenging role of ‘snow”. #passthegin
Thursday – Did the fab new Birthday meme from The Five Fs Blog. I didn’t tag many people but feel free to get involved so we can cover the whole year.
Friday – On SHA training day at St Andrews. Assessment so far: tea – passable, biscuits – excellent.
Saturday – Just got a lovely early mothers day gift from @jaffacakesuk I wonder how many will be left tomorrow. Yum!
Sunday – Feeling @jbmumofone’s Mother’s Day pain. Hubs was #twattyknobchops all morning but now cooking guilt tea.
So basically politics, parenting, blogging, work, biscuits and arguing with Hubs. Yep, sounds like a pretty standard week. What have you been up to?
Ooh what a fab idea! Short and sweet, I like it!
Thanks Nikki, you should give it a try.
a very interesting idea,
I quite enjoyed scrolling back through my tweets reminding myself what I’d done. Does make me thing I should spend less time on Twitter though!
Great idea for a post!
p.s hreat hash tag for Sunday
Thank you but @NotSoSlummy should get the credit for coming up with that originally.
Love this! Thanks for getting involved. I laughed a lot at Wednesday. Snow IS a challenging role to play… 🙂
Absolutely, just a small step from King Lear.
Interesting. It’s actually more difficult squeezing in thoughts in just 140 characters! And how come I didn’t know it was Mother’s Day? Don’t we celebrate it in May? Or is it different across the globe?
Yep, different day over here. My mum lives in Seattle so that’s my excuse for generally forgetting her card!
Ooooh, I see! You learn something new everyday don’t you. How about a belated e-card then? Hehe.
PS
Almost forgot, belated Happy Mother’s Day to you then!
