Win £150 to spend at John Lewis with Everest Home Improvements

I always find that this time of year my mind turns to those jobs around the house that I’ve been ignoring all summer while the weather’s been nice. It’s time to cosy up for autumn. This week’s competition should help you with that. Everest, those masters of home improvement have just launched their lovable little robot, Ronnie, and to celebrate we are excited to give our readers the chance to win £150 worth of John Lewis vouchers.

All you need to do is answer one simple question in the comments section: “What one household gadget couldn’t you live without?” Every answer will automatically be entered for a chance to win this great prize! You can also get extra entries for the usual tweets, follows etc by following the instructions in the Rafflecopter widget below. The giveaway will run until Monday 13th October 2014. Good Luck!

My heated clothes drying rack! My Mum bought it for me for Christmas last year, and to say I was underwhelmed is an under statement!! However, it is now the BEST household gadget I have! It`s cheap to run and no more clothes hanging around the house in Winter. Just put them all on the heated drier, shut the door to the spare bedroom and that night, clothes are dry. Perfect!

I think it would have to be the washing machine, too much like hard work to wash it all by hand (or with stones!) and I don’t fancy being smelly although I think I have enough clothes to keep me going for a while – and with no cooking facilities, I reckon I’d even fit into them by the time I had to resort to my ‘thin clothes’!

Definitely the washing machine. I had to do without it when I had a new kitchen installed and three weeks without one is so hard to do. Not being one for laundrettes I kept it all in several huge piles (the only time I have had them! thank god) and I wouldn’t like to do it again.
