If you’re a regular reader you’d probably assume that my Gallery entry for ‘T’ would be a photo of baby T looking his usual smiley self but you’d be wrong. There is another ‘T’ that is nearly as important to me.
I love a nice cup of tea. Tea has got me through those difficult first few months with both my babies and is how I now celebrate a few minutes of peace and quiet. You will generally find my cups of tea sitting on the arm of the sofa getting cold.
Occasionally, I’ll actually get to sit and drink the whole thing.
And one day I plan on having time for proper tea and cake while my perfectly behaved children amuse themselves quietly with some educational toy (or play the piano or write poetry, I’m not fussy). That happens eventually, right?
You can see the other Gallery posts over at Sticky Fingers and link up if you feel so inclined.

I’ve got a cuppa right now, as I peruse my favourite blogs! 🙂
If you don’t like tea, there’s something wrong with you. Fact.
catparrott says
Yes, it shouldn’t be allowed!

I am a big coffee drinker – until yesterday when I decided I should try and give up coffee and move back to tea for November.
I bought a box of Earl Grey and now I am in heaven!
An Aussie friend of mine drinks almond tea which she says is a the BEST! I have yet to find it but I search!
Lovely photos x

I love a nice Earl Grey. Makes me feel all sophisticated even when drunk in my tracky bottoms. Intrigued by almond tea. Let me know if you find any.
MelkshamMum says
I have a cup of tea beside me RIGHT NOW – Earl Grey if you’re interested. Tea is great, especially in bed. I like your apple cloth by the way xx

Thanks. I have aspirations to be a Cath Kidston/Kirtsy Alsopp clone but sadly more like Waynetta Slob most of the time.

As long as you don’t get between me and my mug you’re more than welcome.

Ooh lovely. Nothing beats a nice cup of tea. For me it’s a cup of Yorkshire tea, golden brown with no sugar. Delicious.

I’m a PG Tips girl but I appreciate the sentiment.

A coffee drinker here, but that cuppa represents that five minutes of delicious peace where you can sit and read with your feet up and a hot drink, even a biscuit perhaps if really treating ourselves.

Had the topic been B then biscuits would have been at the top of my list.
