You may think that advertising LeapPads all over children’s TV and then restricting their supply will send us parents into a frenzy and make your product this year’s coveted present. You may even be right. I, however, think it is an example of cynical marketing that undermines the integrity of your brand and will not be playing along. I’m sure it won’t be hard to find something else to spend our £80 on.
Yours sulkily, Cat

Darling E,
I know you wanted a LeapPad for Christmas but… erm… the way you’re zipping around on the laptop tells me you’d find it a bit basic, honest. How about £80 worth of satsumas and walnuts instead?

I’m sure you’re right, thanks Melinda.

It’s so mean, isn’t it? Just adds stress for everyone.
I’m just trying to imagine £80 worth of satsumas and walnuts… *mind boggles*
A bit more than your 5 a day.
E will be over the Leapfrog by Xmas anyway!
Fingers crossed!
agree, agree, agree.
Imagine all the lovely bits and bobs you could get for 80 Quid.
So true. It is a bit ridiculous when you think about it. x
Oh there’s so many other Must Have gifts – ignore them and get one cheaper in January – save it for a birthday!
Good plan, I think you’re right.
Oh no (they are fab, Bigger has one and loves it but she is a bit younger) – I hate all this wall to wall Christmas advertising, one of the reasons I’m glad we are currently TV free Chez Muddling
It’s just so cynical, isn’t it?
