Today – 10 of the best non chocolate Easter gifts for adults and children. Lovely chocolate free Easter presents for all!
Now I’m not usually one to turn down chocolate but at Easter even I can start to find it a bit overwhelming. So if you don’t want to buy something edible what are your options? Well luckily there’s lots! As a blatant excuse to spend the afternoon browsing some of my favourite online shops I thought I’d give you a run down of the best. (Don’t forget to check out Easter Deals here too)
Monogrammed Egg Cups from Cox & Cox – £8.50
Firstly, who could say no to a boiled egg in these these super cute egg cups? Now E is starting to read he loves things with his name or initials on so I think these will go down a treat.
Non Chocolate Easter Gifts
Easter Gift Box Kits (Pack of 3) from Baker Ross – £2.99
This is my kind of craft. A kit with all the bits cut out for you, ready to go. Then just straight forward sticking for the kids to do. You can use the boxes for gifts you’re giving or keep them for the kids to put their chocolate in. At £1 each they are a bargain
Watering Can Arrangement from Interflora – £32.99
I don’t have a fantastic track record keeping plants alive but this lovely outdoor arrangement has mini daffodils with ivy and a conifer, all of which are pretty sturdy so even I might manage to keep them going until after Easter. Even if I don’t I can always reuse the vintage looking watering can afterwards.
.
Chicken Measuring Cups from Marks and Spencer – £12.50
What true baker wouldn’t love a set of these? They’re part of a range that includes a cake plate, tea pot, mixing bowl and biscuit tins amongst other things. What’s that? One of each? Don’t mind if I do!
Chicken Basket from Cath Kidston – £35
To be clear, I don’t think one has to carry a chicken in the basket. Unless you want to of course! I think it might be more suited to picnic supplies for the park or suntan lotion and towels for the beach. Honestly, a couple of days of sunshine and I’m already planning for summer.

Coloured Plastic Eggs (Pack of 12) from Yellow Moon £1.99
We used these little plastic eggs, each with a couple of chocolate buttons in, for E’s first egg hunt. It was a great way of making sure there was plenty for him to find without him ending up with a mountain chocolate as he was only 10 months. The bright colours make them easier for little ones to find. You can hide little toys in them instead if you prefer.
Easter Spring 100% Cocoa Biscuit Tin from Biscuit Village – £32.99
OK, yes these are edible but they were just too lovely to leave out. I would insist I was buying them for the children but I’m pretty sure you’d find me ‘testing’ them with a nice cup of tea and a magazine for elevensies.
First Easter Sticker Book from Usborne – £3.64
Stickers are always a safe bet in my house. If you’re lucky the 150 stickers in this book will keep the kids so engrossed they won’t notice when we pinch some of their chocolate. Well, it’s important to learn to share, isn’t it?
.
Egg & Feathers Mug from Emma Bridgewater – £19.95
Finally, The Egg and Feathers pattern is so lovely and understated. The mug is just perfect for the cuppa I’m planning to go with those biscuits. It holds a half pint which I think is the minimum requirement for a mug. So it might even give me enough time for two biscuits as I wouldn’t want to waste any.
So those are my choices of the best non chocolate Easter gifts. What are you hoping for?
Edit – I’ve updated my wish list for this year here.

I think I might go out and buy those measuring spoons for myself. They are gorgeous!

Cute, aren’t they? I think having fun while you’re baking is just as important as enjoying the cake at the end.
