I’m late again this week, sorry Mum of One. We’ve had a busy long weekend with Hubs at home on Monday full of really sad middle aged stuff like DIY, clearing out the pantry and taking lots of stuff to the tip and today I’ve been over to Leicester for the Next blogger event, which was great fun. It’s been lovely to get lots of things sorted but T is a baby who likes his routine and he’s starting to get a bit grumpy so:
This week baby I promise… we’ll have a day of doing nothing while your brother is at preschool. We’ll just play and sleep and eat at all the right times and you can return to your normal easy going self.
Sounds simple, hey? Let’s hope it works. You can find all the other promises and leave your own over at Mum of One.
Those really are my favorite days – the ones where we do nothing extra all day long. Sadly, they are few and far between.
They’re fab but I’m rather lazy so it’s no surprise I like them. 😉
Sounds lovely, lucky T! x
And lucky Mummy!
That sounds like bliss!!
Just add in a cup of tea and some TV during his naps and it’s my ideal day. 😀
Er, good luck with that. I’d love to have days like that but they just don’t happen! x x
Yes, I’m not exactly over stretching myself with this one. At least I can guarantee I can achieve it.
Pyjama days!! bliss 🙂
I still have them with my kids in the winter. Days we only get dressed to go for a walk mid afternoon. Its so lovely to just stop still long enough to listen. To hear your babies rhythm and that of your own.
It sounds like an excellent plan when you put it like that, not lazy at all! 😉
Exactly! its only for the good of the children. hey you could call it a Davies day you know the poem: What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare? He didn’t mention PJ’s but I bet he wanted to. 🙂
