So far I’ve just about kept on top of all the things I promised to do last week but with a few more days left until the end of term time will tell if I manage to keep it up. But no time to rest on my laurels, onwards and upwards…
This week baby I promise…to start getting ready for your birthday so it doesn’t get eclipsed by Christmas.
T was due on the 18th December but was stubborn and decided not to arrive until New Years Eve. Christmas is a big deal in my house and normally becomes the focus of everything during December but I’m determined that T’s birthday will still be a fab day for him (even though he’ll never remember it!). I’m just not quite sure what we’ll do yet.
Oh good for you. It is so hard when they are so close together. For the first year EVER I have NO DECORATIONS AND NO TREE UP yet. 🙁 It is normally 1st Dec but didn’t want W’s birthday overshadowed. You will have a great day am sure xxx
Thanks Hun, I think we’ll have to start taking the decs down on the 30th, well maybe from next year. 😉
There are two December birthdays in my house. One is my son’s, who was due on my birthday but came a few days early. When he is old enough to notice parties, we are going to celebrate in January. After the holidays.
Gosh, I hadn’t even thought about kids parties. I think you’re right about waiting until after the hols.
ah hope T has a lovely birthday
Thank you 😀
My little one’s birthday was last weekend, so I am the other way round! Get the birthday out of the way and then start on Christmas! Have a lovely time!
Thank you. It looked like she had a fab day.
My brothers birthday is on the 19th December and I can remember as a child complaining with my sister that we had to wait until the 20th for the decs to be put up. However it must be hard for children and their parents when birthdays and Christmas clash! Hope you have a good one.
My brother’s is on the 27th and looking back I don’t think we ever made any concessions for it. Now I feel really mean!
